Not sure what the earn rates are under the new revenue based regime, but a good fare none the less.
Routes via DEN and LAX.
Wide availability till November.

Thank you OP. While this isn't a great mileage-earning fare, I was able to get my parents tickets to come visit me in MEL from Alabama for less than $1200 total! It's actually more than the ticket cost to get them Economy Plus seats.... Unbelievable price.
ATL-MEL RT all-in is $573USD You can fly via IAD/IAH/DEN/ORD
I didn't see the fare rules, but based on the price matrix it appears you depart no later than Nov 30, return no later than Dec 2.

Definitely a good fare, comically poor RDM earnings on United obviously.

I just noticed you could do this routing and get it to price at around $400 if you return just to LAX, not really useful unless you lived there I suppose.

What I see here is a great one way fare to OZ.

You can spin it into a good RT ticket from LAX, looks like its only available in May though.
Ticket 1 - LAX-SEA/SLC (weekend trip perhaps?)
Ticket 2 - SLC/SEA - MEL/SYD - LAX
Should total around $525 or less.
You can also end at EWR instead, but that's about $100 more.

If you want RDM, bring out a credit card and buy 50,000 of the things online in less than a minute.
If you're flying all the way to Sydney just for the RDM, that's ridiculous. Not taking a mileage run because the RDM earnings are too low is like cancelling a trip to Everest Base Camp because you heard the snow has a slight yellowish tinge this year.

I've got ATL-SYD // MEL-EWR for $497.
My guess is the K fare to EWR is expecting YQ to be added, but the ATL L fare does not have any YQ. Very interesting...

A hybrid self-dump methinks.
