Once you fly the first segment, you MAY BE ABLE to change the flights, if you try to do so before you fly the first segment, this will reprice. Some people are not able to make any changes even after the first flight is taken without getting repriced at $2000-3000+

Please post dates traveling, itinerary, user ID, brief comments

Have my fligght booked in aug/sept.

TSA-HND-SFO
SFO-PHL-PBI
PBI-CLT-SFO
SFO-HND/NRT-TPE

Trying to decide where to credit in terms of both mileage earned and status. Thoughts? Thinking, some combination of AA JL AS or just all AA to maximize and help hit sapphire. altho the domestic AA legs will probably earn very little AA RDM?.

as long as this is full refundable i guess i'll keep my second reservation on the same day and see if i can change the start date. but it seems like if i change the outbound flight, the whole ticket will be repriced and i might as well just cancel it.

i hope they will honor the full cancellation

Dirt cheap, but painful SFO/SJC-LAX-NRT-HKG routing and LAX-NRT is on the old ... 777-200s. Seriously considering this one though.
Damn it, just went up by $440

That I'm sure they will -- it's cheaper to refund a ticket at this price than forcing the person to probably fly it.

Yes, after you fly the outbound there should be no difference in fare charged, and per rules, your ticket becomes flexible.

Of course, this is as per rule.

I was hoping for the same thing now.

I booked the ticket of by one day. was thinking of doing an immediate return the next day, but I bought the following day.

So arriving in SJC on Saturday, thinking of returning on Sunday but bought Monday instead. Do I still have a chance to change it maybe after I land in Tokyo? Should call or just go to their office? (bought on Jal.co though)

AGAIN, this was an official JL flash sale, please STOP spreading complete garbage. Are you saying that AA gets to cancel fares at a whim now because of armchair RM agents on flyertalk who supposedly can tell the difference between a sale and an error???

As for the PEK fare, that fare was cancelled at least in part because of people like you. So says the DOT.

Source that this was an official JL flash sale? Curious since I have seen it mentioned before but no evidence of the sale like advertising etc.
