1st Timer - Clarification on MQPs - AA
I've never done a mileage run before, and have read through the forums but wanted to confirm my understanding before booking.
I need 10k MQPs for Platinum, and I understand in SONGQ classes, flown miles are worth .5 MQP per mile.
I am planning on booking the following for November:
BNA-CLT-LHR-CPH-LHR-CLT-BNA
Milecalc has this route listed as 10204 round trip, so I would only earn 5102 MQPs, correct?
Thanks in advance.

Be careful with the sub-500-miles segment!
From the top of my head I don't know the rule, but if only the real distance counts for points, it'll be 4931 rt.
Getting 10k EQPs can be easier with a domestic first trip, you might want to look into that, especially since Europe is cold-rainy in November (and Copenhagen is covered in fog).

Thanks cvision! I know I will need additional MRs to get to 10k MQPs. I am using the CPH trip to visit the Tivoli Christmas market so it's really more of a combo trip.
I just wanted to be sure I understood the MQPs vs miles flown calculation. I don't want to get to the end of December and be short.
I'm keeping an eye out for sub-$1k mileage runs to get the rest, and they can be anywhere, but I'm in Nashville and it is not particularly conducive to cheap flights.
