AA Exec Platinum Challenge Help

Had AA platinum last year and UAL 1K last year. Got dropped to AA gold (only done 3 segments this year) and UA gold (55 segments so far).

Got email for new challenge from AA. Registered a new account and challenge starts sep 14th thru dec 23.

Can you experts help me do 9000(plat) or 25000(exec plat) point from ORD. Budget is $1200 and can travel internationally

Tried many things on google flights and ita but could not find something workable.

Any leads would be helpful

25,000 EQP (if that's what the challenge is for) at $1200 sounds next to impossible...

There are a couple destinations in latin america (BAQ, PTY, etc) for around $800 in business, which should get you around 9000 EQP, or close to it.

e.g. ORD-MIA-BAQ-MIA-ORD, $691 -- 4568 EQM, 6852 EQP. You can probably push that up if you add another connection

(It's 9136 EQP with bonus, but I don't think that counts for the challenge)

If you position to FRA, you can do FRA-DFW-SCL in First for $2,686, 20k EQMs and 30k EQPs (40k EQPs with the bonus, but only the 30k counts for the challenge I believe).

Thanks you all
You are right. Bonus does not qualify for challenge.

I am having a business trip in business class to PHX which will give me 4300 points. I would request for advice on :
- Idea for itinerary to get about 5000 points to reach platinum in most cost effective way

I have spent countless hours on Google flights and ITA software but get lost all the time. Any insights would be appreciated.

Check the Mileage Run forum and the Premium Fare Deals for all current AA MR material fares.
