No - for SYD it was routing on BA the whole way via LHR and SIN. I did see AKL which switched to CX J from HKG - AKL.

Didn't pull the trigger (not going to be in Europe as of now anytime soon when I can use it) but quite intriguing - especially for the routings that had the 789 with the updated version of F that BA is putting on them.

Snapped 2 for next year. Routed via HKG for more miles to KUL - only thing is that there is only 1 codeshare flight from HKG-KUL - therefore I am forced to stayover night in HKG - not that I am complaining .
Only able to get F on BA - not the best, but for this price, why not.

Strangely for the CE legs, I am not able to get any seats in the 'real' CE cabin- lowest number I could choose was either row 4 or 5.

Waiting for this to die down and see how it goes...

Thanks to the OP.. great catch after such a long 'dry' period of these exceptional fares!

Cheers!

Still bookable in the GDS, so it should be available online as well.

FYI - Also valid to DPS. Routed TXL-LHR-SIN-HKG-DPS (11075 miles one way) for $1521 RT.

Locked in an easy TXL-xLHR-KUL return. Wanted to get the HKG stop but website is getting very stuttery so I think they may be getting pulled so just jumped.
