MR help from NYC - UA - 6800 miles+
Hello folks,
I'm going to fall 6,757 miles short of United platinum this year, due to a couple months of being jobless. Now that I'm working again (hooray!), my client obligations severely limit my chances to get back to Platinum.
I can travel 12/21-23 or 12/28-31. Since those are holiday weeks, it may be moot to find something reasonably priced, but if anyone would know my best option, it's FTers.
I may be a lost cause, but any guidance / recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a kind of odd itinerary, outbound is in first/business, return in coach.
EWR-IAH-SJU-IAD-EWR out 12/22 return 12/23, $629. 7181 miles with 50% class of service bonus and 500 mile minimum.
