Thanks for the head's up on seats. Ouch. I'll decide more soberly tomorrow whether either of the JFK-SGN/BKK trips make sense or are pure masochism. I appreciate how Orbitz makes it so easy to cancel online by the next day.

Orbitz is still pricing correctly via the link from Kayak, searching direct does not price correct.

was playing with dates/ cities for 2 hours, just went to book and the price jumped. I just learned a lesson.

Looks like it's dead within the last few minutes folks - Orbitz/CheapTickets is repricing upon selection, and Priceline is returning normal pricing. Any reports of sites still ticketing?

Congrats to all that got in!

Book first think later.
You can book a lot of date first and then cancel it later.

Too bad Etihad only had JNB, LOS available for the mistake fare. Was looking forward to visit "proper africa". Couldn't bear with the 35+ hr total flight time (including transit).

Confirm they pulled the fare out. It's time to go to sleep

Thanks OP.

I did see NBO and CAI if either of those are more "proper". Everything seems to be repricing for me as well now.

And A++ on the meme!
