Hello! I'm sure this has been discussed multiple times but I would like some more personalized segment run help. I'll be 18 segments short of Executive Platinum this year and would like to get those segments in...my 6 year old and I already have planned trips to Hong Kong, Bali, and two trips to London next year and who knows where else, so the SWUs will be invaluable. We were recently upgraded to business on a recent flight from JFK to LHR thanks to some wonderful Admiral's Club employees and can't picture a flight to HKG in Economy.

Any ideas/suggestions/advice to getting these segments in? I may be able to get 4 or 6 segments in visiting family in Boston from now to December but it would be nice to knock out a bunch of segments at once.

Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

You can get four segments for $172, LGA-CLT-JAX-CLT-LGA, for example same day return on 9/13. Other days are available.

Wow good for your 6 year old - what great experiences at a young age!

For about the same price per segment you can squeeze in six in one day: LGA-PHL-CLT-JAX and JAX-MIA-DCA-LGA. $268 on most any Tuesday in September, as well as some other days, but no Saturdays unfortunately.

Also, be advised that SWU upgrades to international business class are not a slam dunk. In some cases you can confirm them at booking, but often not. In which case you'll be biting your nails until a couple days before departure, if not at the departure gate.

And thank you consultant22, she's been to 11 counties already and we always to to a new country for her birthday since it's just the two of us...it's a pretty fun life! And no worries anyone traveling with us, she's perfectly quiet and well behaved on flights, even long hauls!
