Hi all. I want to do a segment run on Aug 23rd. I can book ticket today. Flying out of ATL, and would prefer to be back in ATL that night or spend the night in PHL or CLT and come back into ATL early morning the 24th.

Anyone able to help me figure out the most segments I can get in that day? I want to do as much as possible without worrying about missing flights (i.e.- prefer all to be on a single ticket).

Anyone willing to help me get this booked?

This probably belongs in the MR discussion thread. What I would do is goto google.com/flights and see where I can get to (not CLT/PHL as you're looking for segs) and see whats cheapest. Being two weeks out you're not going to find much of a deal. How many segments do you need?

You can do ATL-CLT-JAX and back for $279; leave at 550am, come back at 237 pm.

For the same price you can also do Cleveland, although a bit longer for transit time. But at $70/segment, nowhere near a deal. If you could wait until Monday the 25th the price is only $155 r/t, so around $40/segment. You can goto Denver as well, but that's an all-day (5am-midnight) trip. Also see Fort Meyers,Indianapolis,Columbus,Orlando, and New Orleans as options.

If US/AA, found a five segment for $339 same day return 8/23 ATL-CLT-DFW-GCK-DFW-ATL. Depart 550am arrive back in ATL at 915pm. Also can get six segments for $432 with stop in CLT on the way back. You can find this on the AA website.

US Airways (prefer US metal due to status upgrades)

The six segment CGK itinerary prices at $470 on the US site with US metal except the DFW-GCK hops. On the AA site, costs $432 but the CLT-DFW flights are AA metal.

Ok, so I ended up with ATL-CLT-IND-DCA-MCO-CLT-ATL for $420. Not the cheapest, but got 6 in the day. Will be a long day for sure, but being sick for a month caused my segment count to drop behind.
