In for an Oct 10/12 run... upgrade cleared on the return, but with an empty cabin in J and almost the entire MCE cabin empty.. I feel good about my upgrade changes heading there!

Ah there's only A space on the days I want no C space. I'm hesitant to book this if I can't confirm an upgrade immediately on at least one of the legs even though it looks pretty wide open (only person in MCE in both directions right now)

Sorry, I little new to upgrades. How do I confirm an upgrade using SWU while booking? I do not see any options? Also can someone help me with upgrade availability for Nov 3rd week DFW-HKG and Dec 1st week HKG-DFW?

DFW-HKG
11/15,11/16,11/17 have C1
HKG-DFW
12/5 and 12/6 have C1
C1 means there is one available upgrade. Grab it quick... you can put the ticket on hold, call the EXP line and have them apply the eVip and then ticket

On hold for Sept 11-14. May add a day and come back 15 instead.
Can't decide whether or not I can stomach that duration and turn in 25A! Ha. Probably will make this run just to lock up my PLT for the year (assuming all goes to plan). Pretty dang good value though.

Ah..the infamous ITA missing results!
I input SFO,SJC,SMF,RNO to HKG on the monthly calendar C:AA+ and it returned $906 SFO. Only when I reduced the search to SJC did it come back with the lower fare...pointing out my pet peeve with ITA - not allowing it to continue searching beyond whatever the internal cutoff before displaying results.
You can't know what you don't see - so hard to know what pushed the engine beyond what it could handle.

Held one yesterday and ticketed today for October.
SWU on outbound cleared at ticketing. Waitlisted on return.
Now I need to figure out what to do with an almost 7 hour layover in DFW. Didn't want to chance it with the morning SFO flights so I'm on the red-eye which gets me in around 530am.
Anyone with suggestions?
