Hi all -- Previous member who had a couple years of non-flying time (job changes) and now am back into it with a Singapore based job. I'm looking for some general help and tips on how to add-on miles to a SFO-SIN roundtrip itinerary without getting the price up too much.

For my specific task at hand, I'm looking at Feb 5-15ish travel (which is around $1000 right now) -- with a constraint of trying to stay within $1500 and preferably around $1250. The objective is to just pile on the most added miles within that limitation. I'm gold currently, but want to set myself up for the 100k point next year, so bumping the 17k-ish round trip up to 25-30k would be fantastic (I can get it up to around 20k without too much trouble but the next tier is challenging my very rusty skills).
