Talking UA: Need <4000 miles by end of year! Please help!

Hello everyone!

I need just under 4000 miles by the end of the year to jump to the next level on UA. I had a work flight planned that fell through so now I could use your expertise!
I'm in southern CA so I could fly out of SNA/LGB/LAX/BUR/ONT (that order preferred)
I'm flexible to fly between today 12/11-12/23. I would like to do a 1 day turn around, but would be open to a few days and need to be back by the evening of the 23rd.

Thanks for the help!!

Go to miles & points, search for UA, and scroll down through the results. Somebody had that question answered a few days ago. Good luck!

I suspect that you can do better than this, but US Airways LAX-EWR fly 13th, return 14th is $448.
A little better, US Airways SNA-DCA fly 14th, return 15th for $424.

Thanks Snoopyo...that's the best fare I've seen so far. I'm going to continue to look around though.

I'd highly recommend booking the best fare you can find now, since there's a 24 hour refund window. So you have something decent locked in while you look for something better, since fares this time of year seem to be going up rapidly. I hesitated on a fare last week thinking I might be able to find something better, and when I realized I couldn't, the original fare had gone up 300%.
