[AAdvantage] MR from anywhere in US to PVG/HKG/PEK
I need to do a flight basically from anywhere in the USA (leaving before the 19th length on the ground 3-8 days, flexible) to PVG and/or HKG/PEK (prefer PVG).
This is not a pure MR I have some business I need to attend to in China
Anyone know good routes for such flight? I can't seem to find anything low-cost
I guess flights on CX won't help me as I need the full miles (EQM)
thanks!

There are several CX booking classes that earn full EQM. They aren't among the cheaper ones, however.
Anything booked with an AA code earns redeemable miles and EQM according to AA terms. Don't be another guy who learns details of partner earning too late.

If you haven't mastered ITA Software's flexible date, flexible duration, multiple departure city, and carrier code force features, this would be a good test.

As this thread is about mileage runs, I'm going to move it to the Mileage Run Discussion forum. I've also slightly updated the thread title to reflect the programme involved.

Click on "Advanced Routing Rules" and in the boxes below origin, enter AA DFW ORD AA
This means connect at DFW, then at ORD, using AA.
In the box below destination, enter AA ORD DFW AA
If you like, you can enter things like AA+ LAX ORD,DFW AA+
which means use AA-coded segments to connect to LAX, then to either ORD or DFW.
To broaden to OW flights, enter as advanced routing: DFW ORD / alliance oneworld
