UA :: ORD Need 4908 miles to Gold
Hi All,
I am 4908 miles short of Premier Gold and am thinking for a MR out from ORD or MKE. Black out on Nov 15 and Dec 10 - Dec 17.
The cheapest so far (at $278) am getting is -
Nov 16 - MKE -> ORD -> SFO -> PDX
Nov 17th - PDX -> SFO -> ORD -> MKE
The trip gets me 4914 miles (not considering minimum 500 miles). This would be 5.6 cpm for my requirement of 4908 miles. Will this be considered a good deal?
Tried SEA too but coming at similar or exp price.
Looking for some insights and advice.

Realizing time and routing are difficult in this case, 5.6 cpm is still a little high, but considering the low price point of $278 I wouldn't stress over it too much. Premier Gold for all of next year is definitely worth it. Generally, ~4.5 cpm or under is ideal. Shoot for this when you do more frequent/longer MRs that cost more overall. Cheers!
