Guys,
I am currently at an end of year crunch as I was unable to travel during the past few months. I currently stand at 20 segments or 25k miles to make ExecPlat status and have already signed up for the 2xEQM promo. Do any of you have some recommendations on flights that I could take from DFW before the end of the year in order to achieve either these miles or segments at the lowest cost possible?
Thanks in advance!

As your question more pertains to how best to run for miles/segments, I've moved it over to the Mileage Run Discussion forum. Good luck retaining status!

From a quick search, your best bet for one very long MR would be DFW-BOS-DFW-HNL, $832. You can probably move the dates around. I did a multi city search on Matrix ITA, DFW-BOS, BOS-HNL, and then reverse for the last two legs.
13816 miles, so with DEQM you'll get 27600 miles.
Something to look at is DFW-BOS-DFW-SJC, which was $471 on one date i searched for (Dec11-13). That trip is only 9124 miles. You will need something extra on top to get the other 3k miles.
Itinerary
Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Boston (BOS) - Tue, Dec 11

It works from most everywhere, AAvacations From DFW to Colombia (BOG or MDE) two or more nights in a decent hotel (one if you find an overnight flight) is less than $1200. with first class air (the eqp's add up fast) Same price from Maui, Hawaii (OGG). So, if you call you can OJ it (dfw-mia-mde-mia-dfw-lax-ogg) for that $1200. Now from Maui to more latin american locations with AAvacation is just as cheap and you can earn them EQP's fast. BZE (Belize), PTY (Panama) are a bit Cheaper, LIR (Liberia, Costa Rica), is about the same, UIO (Quito, Ecuador), MGA(Nicaragua), GUA (Guatamala) or SJO (San Jose, Costa Rica) a bit more.
The prices to some Caribean Destinations are inviting but don't get you Admirals club access like the Latin American Destinations due. On the way back you reverse your OJ and end up back in DFW or your home town. Discounts on the hotels are available if you have a second traveler.
Make your milage run fun, and enjoy some sun. The whales are just arriving to Maui.

You don't really want EXP status. That just means less upgrades for the rest of us
Check in to a positioning DFW-SEA and then doing SEA-DFW-BOS-DFW-SEA or possibly a routing to SJU. Those can provide some decent miles for you and if you do back to back then you only need one positioning trip and get plenty of mile to get EXP and a number of RDM as well. SEA-DFW-BOS R/T is a bit over 12k miles, do that twice and you're at 24k + your positioning to SEA and I'm sure you'd be over the 25k you need. Plenty of same day turns on the SEA-DFW-BOS first week of December. Just check on ITA Matrix and AA.Com for options.

a few cross-country trips should do you good and I am sure you will meet lots of fellow MR's. When we did our runs in Jan we ran into quite a few MR's. Even the AAngles saw our itinerary and said there were lots of folks like us who came all the way from NYC to LAX for a 45min stay at the airport!

Check your e-mail, (including the span folder)
Many of us are getting this e-mail offering a "segment run" opportunity:

Mod - given the new development and the AA specific context, perhaps you might merge this with the other thread, or at least send back to the AA forum...
