Yes it's gone, just happened about 10 minutes ago. Went in to purchase it and prices came up but when I tried to purchase the dreaded prices have changed came up.
Thanks Adam I was out of town for 4 days or I would have had it

I am glad I got 5
Being based in PIT, it is about time we got a bone.
Doing 3x SFO and 2x LAX. All Saturday turns, so I don't have to worry about using up a vacation day. Both LAX turns are 12 hours, so I'll get to enjoy my former hometown a bit before going back to the PIT.
I know, fat chance, but I hope at least one of the upgrade on one of the 8 JFK transcons I am doing will clear...

I've only done a reroute SDC once and I think the agent bent the rules for me. I was flying on an 11AM SFO-JFK direct, and saw that there was a 8AM SFO-LAX. I was hoping to reroute the flight to go to LA for a few hours and grab lunch with my parents. I called at 5AM, and successfully changed it to SFO-LAX-JFK with a 6-hr layover (returning flight to NYC on the 4PM direct). I've SDC'd to earlier flights many times though just by asking the gate agent for the flight I want nicely.

Surely got attention from TPG/RM but I think it was a mistake fare that would have been caught soon enough.

I am glad I stayed up to 1:30am PDT for this. I was able to book into April and May for a couple of weekend runs. With it being so far out, I look forward to schedule changes that will allow me to book more mileage flights.

Yes, you are wise to book as two one-ways for exactly the reason you state.
By the way, if Delta later does a schedule change to the first one-way that makes you miss the start of your second one-way, just call reservations. They will fix it at no charge even though you booked them separately.
