That would be sweet! Too bad AS fares always seem to be higher than UA or DL. Would be nice to fly on hometown metal instead of partners...if only the price was right!

Wow, that was quick. I bought one prior to taking my lunch and planned to buy two more during lunch but that's obviously not happening anymore. Bummer.

I started a search, got a result (that includes Labor Day), and went to lunch.

I moved onwards and selected my seat.

Now this fare is still there in my browser, and I am fighting whether to hit the switch on it. (I do have 24 hours to cancel.)

How long does it take a fare to time out?

Edit: I couldn't help it. I hit it. Now 24 hours to decide.

Take the fare, and cancel later!
And if they fare isn't accepted by the system, I'd call their online suport and have them fix it (I've done that in the past, and if you are logged in while you tried to do your reservation, they can see exactly what pages/prices you were viewing).

No, if you read the thread the fares were already pulled and the suggestion was to call to access a fare that had disappeared.

Can we stop with the blaming someone calling crap right away? I'm pretty sure this wasn't a mistake few just a very quick flash sale to try to bait someone else to join in. When no one else joins the fare dies.

Damn that was quick. Yesterday when it was still active I was able to find routing through SFO..and mileage right around 6400 for the same price. One of the legs was a 150% mile bonus. Anyone get in on that route? Looked to be an even better MR. Wish I were out of PDX/SEA!
