Given that this clocks in a 4.9cpm I would hardly call it MR worthy, especially given that it terminates in KRT. If, however, you have a deathwish or simply enjoy visiting dangerous and exotic destinations, this may be a cheap way to achieve it.

Thank you for posting this. It was great fun researching a trip to KRT and this is a great fare. My friend and I were actually considering booking this but after our research, decided we'll wait for an alternative run as too many restrictions on arrival. You're the best at finding these obscure trips and we appreciate it the post!

I find the fact that one is restricted merely because one visited Israel a no-no. I've not been to Israel, but that's irrelevent.

... and that's why you get a second passport. However, I've been to KRT and ELF w/ work. Not a place I'd venture back to.

Actually you don't need a 2nd PP. Upon arrival in Israel they will stamp a separate card and avoid stamping your PP if you so request. Not a big deal if you are aware...

I carry a passport for Israeli stamps and a passport for everyone else. Suits my needs just fine.

I know none of the involved carriers are OW but I believe KRT is currently the cheapest starting point for OW RTW tickets. This fare might help some people get there, if you could somehow work out making it only a transit from this ticket to the RTW.

I would Have said no way to his, but I recently read one of Sam Chui's TRs on his trip to Khartoum, and frankly it looked amazing. Obviously not your usual tourist destination, but for some that's a positive. Also, Sam noted that the plane spotting at KRT was probably the best he's ever experienced -- a veritable museum of Soviet-era planes you simply can't find elsewhere.

Sorry I don't have the link, but it's worth searching out if you're thinking abou jumping on this deal...

Have been there a couple of times -- it's a very interesting city and very safe.

However, visas are a real PITA.
