Your 2011 greatest MR hits
If y'all are anything like me at the end of the year, you check the deal board, find it devoid of anything interesting, and then check here and find everyone's requests for help with end-of-year runs. It's less than thrilling, to be sure.
So I thought back to earlier, better days this year--warm thoughts of the $147 BWI-SAN/LAS/ABQ/etc. RT ai fare on UA/CO (I bought about 9 one ways of those) or the $124 RT ai WAS-half-the-cities-in-America fare on DL, of which I bought about 11.
Let's hear it--what was your best deal of 2011?

My favorite this year has to be PHX-MSP-AMS-SVO-ATL-PHX on DL/KL for $540 (3.9cpm). Gave me a great chance to finally visit Russia!
I finally did my first true mileage run this year: PHX-ATL-BOS-ATL-PHX spending only 58 minutes in BOS. Did the whole trip in about 18 hours.

+1 for HKG-IST-LAX, combined with LAX-YVR-PVG this was a nice RTW MR.

The March SAN-BOS fare error on co.com. I booked/flew two trips back-to-back: SAN-IAH-BOS-EWR-SAN-LAX-BOS-LAX-SAN (skipped that last leg to go home from LAX). For $124.10 ($20 airfare+fees per RT), I logged 15436 RDM, 11547 EQM for 1.075 CPM (using the EQM).

DEN - CLD
My best MR this year was DEN-ORD-LAX-CLD-LAX-CLE-DEN @ 2.7 cpm. Since I'm DEN-based, no positioning flights were required, and CLD has a great resto/bar if you're inclined to deplane there as you make the turn. Doesn't get a lot better than that from DEN.
