It's so cold in January there!!!!!!!! Plus with the connecting segments, good chance for things to go wrong. Gotta have a sense of adventure and no checked luggage for this trip. Fun times!

Also some availability on the OP's origin of JFK with a JFK-YUL-CDG-WAW and WAW-AMS-YYZ-JFK routing for a very slightly better cpm (around $11 more but extra miles) and YUL-CDG on AF A380, if that interests anyone. Far more limited dates though, seems to begin only in January. ITA showing, again having trouble getting to book on DL.com, only allowing a 65 minute connection in CDG on DL.com when ITA shows that and a longer connection from the A380 flight. DL.com is giving more reasonable connections for an earlier flight on an AF A330. Nothing I've tried so far in the multi-city gives the longer connection.
EDIT: Not booking on delta.com, but booking on Big O

Only works with a Sunday stay in WAW (someone else caught that as the pattern). The fare I posted ex-LAX works leaving LAX on a Friday and coming back on a Monday. You'd stay in WAW for 2 nights, with an early flight out to AMS to start the return. It is slightly lower if you are willing to leave on a Wednesday and stay in WAW for 4 days. LAX-YVR-AMS-WAW and return, type it step by step into multi-city on DL.com and it should work out, remembering to make the AMS-WAW date for the day after the YVR-AMS segment.

Edit: Spelling
Second edit: ITA shows a codeshare on the CDG-WAW flight but DL.com doesn't have it for some reason. DO NOT CALL DL TO FORCE IT, it is bookable on Big O
Third edit: For clarity, my test dates were January 21 from JFK and January 23 from WAW, should work for most Saturday-Monday dates after January 1, ITA doesn't show same availability before that date

Fare sale or fare screw up? You decide.
