(FARE GONE) AA/GULF : HOUSTON-LAHORE (LHE) Rt. from $497 a.i.

Please do not call ANY AIRLINE or BOOKING SITE.

Houston-Lahore or Islamabad (ISB) on American and Gulf Airlines.
Bookeable in the month of August and Dec 2011 on The Big 0 and CTickets
Easiest way to find flights is do a 30 day flex search.
Sample date : IAH-Lahore Dec 14-19 $501 a.i.
Sample date : IAH-Islamabad Aug 9-14 $502 a.i. Aug 11-25 $498 a.i.
There are dates for the $497 a.i. for Lahore but depends on routing.
Base fare is $50 each way. so there is room for improvement
DO NOT CALL

I've seen this popping up every now and then on FareCompare but never been able to get it priced out. Kudos!

Now on to "fare improvement".

triple connection ORD, LHR, BAH both ways. On ITA it says that the booking class is B. Does this mean that one could earn 1.5 EQM on the flights operated by AA from IAH-LHR? Or since it's ticket by Gulf this wouldn't work.

It books into B, also AA flights will be on GF B-code, not AA B-code.
If having a kid, (s)he will get extra discount.

9W and VS programmes do not give any credit for this B-fare as it seems to be a new approach since April. AA gives 100%.

Free cancel if schedule change.

Also available stopovers allowed just on outbound at LHR/CDG/FRA/BAH (just 1).

Not bad at all for approx 19k AA points

... just word of warning, I had hard time with GF honouring my fare on the CAI-BKK F.

The issue might be trying to explain your MR when you get back to the US.

That's a heck of a deal, but I dont think you will be able to upgrade the AA side.

I love to jump on wild MR's, but I'm not going to Pakistan. (Don't forget the $120 visa fee)
Now if it was Delta... maybe... :-)

I messed around with different airports, coming and going. No luck. It seems only between Houston and Lahore, right? Oh well.

This thread is hilarious! Only FTers would fly to Pakistan for fun/miles.
