AA - Correct calculations?
I just want to make sure I have this right...
If I do a multi-city (STL-BOS-LAX-STL) route, it comes out to be about 5,900 miles.
With triple STL bonus I'd get a total of17,700 and since I'm Plat I'd get another 5,900? For a total of about 23,600?
Is that right?
Cost is $442 ai. Less another $40 or so if you have a 10% discount code.
.0187 per mile and if you have the % off code it brings it down to about .017.

It's only triple bonus miles if you are PLAT or EXP. If you are Gold, then it's an 8x bonus miles promotion. If you have no status, then mathematically, it's something like infinity. What they meant to say about the RDMs was "triple base miles." OR, perhaps, "200% bonus on your base miles, PLUS 100% bonus on your EQMs."
Bottom line: EXPs and PLATs who fly 1,000 miles get 2,000 EQM and 4,000 RDM.
