Are we sure these fares are eligible to earn miles and EQM/MQM? It's not some sort of bare consolidator fare?

I remember seeing that some of the ferry companies did day trips from Nassau to Eleuthera (I think?). Is there anything like from Freeport? Maybe to Andros? I tried this deal on some of the Out Islands, but the hotels are just so much more expensive. It would still be a good deal though if you were already planning on going to the Bahamas and just wanted to save money.

If you are FLL based (or get yourself there) and pay the cost of one-way back from FPO-FLL, you can presumably fly this route for free over and over again. -- if you can get the dates to work, which I haven't tried.
i.e.
3/1 fly down on promo free #1
3/1-2 fly up paid on your own dime
3/4-5 fly down on promo free #2
3/5 fly up on promo free #1
3/7-8 fly down on promo free #3
3/8 fly up on promo free #2
etc.
If dates work, could probably prevent overnights--maybe even return on the same plane you came down on...
I would be curious to know if someone FLL based can actually get this to work and rack up a ton of EQS. (or 1000 eqm each R/T).

so basically your paying $15 per person for govt tax, 2 X $30 X 4 nights=$120 for two people ouch!!!!!!

If you're traveling with your sigificant other/spouse you'll probably want to be in the same room but my friend and I each booked our package separately to get the full $400 off each package (each came to $2.49) so for $62.49 each we get our own rooms for four nights, and airfare. Worked for me.
