Seems like the flight connects in CLT; was hoping for UA codeshare but haven't digged enough to find it. Did find fare rules though:

50 minute turn??

US site showed some UA codeshares,
but they are priced much higher.

I have to look up *A upgrade requirements,
but I suppose the fare class won't work....

I don't think US will be too bad on the A330 in Y, as long as the AVOD is working. I think I will book a trip this evening.

This is where it would be nice to get a $200 r/t fare on a *A carrier from NYC-LAX to get positioning for this MR. 18k+ miles for under 3cpm.

BOS-LAX r/t is $199 all-in on UA--perhaps you can find a cheap way to get up to BOS?

Basically I read it as all US, all the time. I'd love to be misinterpreting it and have someone show otherwise.

BTW, can anyone confirm 100% EQM plus 100% RDM bonus? I'm not very familiar with US crediting on UA.

This fare is available from several origins. A poster on the US forum alerted me to this this morning. I found/booked the following:

PHX-PHL-MUC-PHL-LAS-PHX

I'll overnight in Munich; Hilton has some half-decent rates right now. There were options to go through ORD or CLT, but the extra miles were few for the hassle. There was an option for BWI, but would only give an hour in PHL prior to the flight. I'd want some time to enjoy the Envoy lounge...

Price: $370 all-in

PHL-LAX was $225 n/s on UA for the next few weekends.
