Going from YOW

I just booked 2 flights EWR-BZE at 321.40 CAD February 15-22 (reading week here = cheap vacation). Will be driving from Ottawa if anyone wants to carpool (about 6 hours to EWR).

I have a confirmation number but have not received the itinerary by email yet. AA site is barely running. Hopefully these will be honoured?

Aaah... that explains it.

I experienced problems with aa.com for a little while this morning, but it quickly remedied itself and was working fine until later this afternoon. This is by far the largest chunk of time it's been available.

Naturally, I freaked. I couldn't risk the fare being "dead" upon the site being fixed. So I booked via third-party booking site.

Yes, it's still available on Expedia, Travelocity, etc. So get your bookings in NOW if you were eying this! ^

No, I think mizzou was so excited that he forgot to metion extra charges. The cheap fare was always ~$30 a ticket one way. With taxes, this comes to ~$133 AI RT

The original fare posted by theoddball was $150++ and now $60++. Thus, $90 difference.

Not so. Excited yes but the fare has dropped ~$90 from when first posted. At last check (when I booked 12 of us to BZE!) it was $35 each way in base fare. It is now, shockingly, $30!

Enjoy....

I am hoping for ORD..they are flying through ORD but not including it..just like they are flying through Miami and not including it either.

I wonder why Belize has become the spot for the fare war.
