TB - I fly out of BOS and am signed up the NetSAAvers email. BOS-LAX is one the routes I have an alert set on, and I see $199 BOS-LAX fares come up about every 4-6 weeks year-round. The downside of these fares is that you usually only less than a week's notice and the fare only is valid for the upcoming weekend. If you and your wife are fairly flexible AND can travel last-minute, then I suggest signing up for their email so you get the heads up when the fares come out.

Hmm there is also an alert for LAX-BOS but it comes with a minimum 2 night stay on selected dates (same as when I check SFO-BOS/JFK).
Some of you mentioned you got it to work with 1 day or immediate turnaround, how did you do that ?
Thanks & cheers

Valid Departure: 02/14/08-02/16/08
Valid Return: 02/17/08-02/21/08
...with a 1am return possible on 2/17. I just punched in 2/16-2/17 and, while all the flight options don't seem to price out the same, can get:
2/16/08
AA 349 DCA-DFW 3:30p-6:00p
AA 1415 DFW-SFO 7:05p-8:50p
2/17/08
AA 2466 SFO-DFW 1:00a-6:05a
AA 836 DFW-DCA 8:25a-12:05p
$286 fare + $42 tax/fee = $328 a/i

SFO-JFK this weekend, SFO-BOS next weekend. Base fare $199+ or $220 all-in (no fuel surcharge!)
Not a bad way to pad your EQMs if you have a free weekend (though the Monday return can be a dealkiller). 2.2cpm for those who get plat/exp bonus.
I don't subscribe to the weekly emails anymore, so I'm wondering whether this deal is offered every week, or more likely hit or miss.

We have a bunch of them.
I am going SJC-DFW-IAD, DCA-DFW-SJC at the end of the month for $202 all in.

I think the next-day return that o2bonn booked is only available for DCA-SFO. Putting that city pair into the NetsAAver fare search currently shows:
Valid Departure: 02/14/08-02/16/08
Valid Return: 02/17/08-02/21/08
