Thanks all for replying and looking for the deals. I forgot to mention some of the *KEY* points.
He can't take any flight which is coming to USA as he doesn't have US visa(right this time).
He had NWA tickets bought yesterday online for ~2300 which had the same routing but they didn't allow to board him as the flight wasn't coming as INTL flight to Minneapolis and Immigration didn't (obviously) cleared him at the gate. Luckily he bought the ticket less than 24 hrs so was able to got the full refund.
He is going thru counter to counter at airport and looking for the options. I think he will take one way option either thru Frankfurt as Lufthansa has direct flight to Hyderabad.

Why post here???
While this is useful information to the person who needed it, why post it in MILEAGE RUN DEALS???
MR Deals forums appears among the first forum, but shouldn't be used to post NON MR deal related posts.
The OP should have posted to the Travel Buzz, or other forums

I think for this you would maybe have to go through a TA or try multicity. I will try for you but wanted to post first to show you the availability.
Expensive is that the AC flight only has availability in high booking classes. Still less expensive than LH would chrage you when buying a ticket on day of departure...

If he can go tomorrow, he can book himself on a AC/9W combine routed on YYC-YYZ-(BRU)-MAA-HYD for CAD 1,800.

Or he would fly tomorrow a AC/WS to YVR and then take CX/IT combine for CAD 1,789. Routing would be YYZ-YVR-HKG-DEL-HYD.

As the husband of an Indian wife with Canadian landed immigrant status and no US visa, I can relate to the travel panic when you find out travel plans have fallen through. Most likely it was based on bad info from a TA or airline customer service staff. That's been my experience. It's not a good feeling when you find out, we can't let you on the plane or we can let you on, but you can't collect your bags in X transfer city.
Considering the panic and desperation, I would be a little easy on the OP.
It's a testament to the collect knowledge and goodwill here at FT, that desperate people ask us all for help. It's not like he popped in and asked for a MR $0.01 EQM gift wrapped from his home airport on 01/01/2008. He asked for someone in need.
Look at my post count, so what do I know. I do know that I come here every day because people are helpful and can forgive the honest mistakes.

thank you canadianpilgrim, I'm sure your sentiments echo those of most FT'er. I think that sometimes the diehards take the whole thing (of forums, posts) just a little too seriously. Given some of the trite posts in all forums - most from those with 1000's of posts ... I would recommend a little more compassion for real issues.
As far as certain nationalities requiring visas (not just visa waver forms) even for transit in the US - well I agree with your concerns as well. The US should review it's list of participating countries - India is an excellent example - with a booming economy and a huge middle class - it makes no sense at all. (I could go on about India's own tourist and business visitor visa process -- but this is not the forum for that!!)
