I do not know which correct forum to post this thread. Moderator, please feel free to move this thread to the appropriate forum.

I have not seen fare at this level for a long time. I was playing around last night and found it on http://matrix.itasoftware.com
and united.com. I was using dates in Oct.

I think this is in response to Southwest reinstating service from SFO to LAS starting sometime in August. US has a similar fare, and UA has also dropped their SFO-SAN fare to $91/rt to match SW's $39 each way special.

Competition is good.^

Prices effective August 27 through October 31, except on Fridays and Sundays when the fare jumps $30 r/t.

Nice catch. I booked one LAS-SFO for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 10/4-10/8.

Awesome totally free festival hosted by one of the mega-rich.
Beats many other $200-400 festivals.
