AA BOS-SFO $169.40 all in, 1st weekend in Dec.
That's 5,408 base miles at 3.13¢ each, 11,816 usable miles including the on-line booking bonus if you are PLT or EXP making the cost 1.43¢/mile.
Book by November 25, fly westbound either Friday evening Dec. 2 or all day Sat. the 3rd, return any time Monday or Tuesday Dec. 5-6.
There's snow on the ground around Boston now. Anyone for a California weekend?

Tremendous for this routing, particularly on a nonstop. Really want to go but my wife will kill me if I miss her friend's wedding reception for a mileage run. Obviously she has not been fully trained...
For those of you considering SF, the weather has been fantastic this month, and the stores are all decorated.

Ok to add a stopover?
This is a great fare and will get me within 117 miles of requalifying for PLT. If I booked this ticket and went to the airport and asked to fly standby through, say, DFW or LAX, would AA do it? Would they charge me a fee? (I see the fare has a $100 change fee, but couldn't figure out the restrictions of making a non-stop into a stopover).
Thanks!
Thanks!
