Well that's that then. Well done any FT'ers that spotted it before FareAlert did...
Don't be so quick to judge. Still works just fine here.

I got it for the 20th to 21st (arrive early AM on the 22nd). It is a refundable fare on CO's booking engine, so why not. I may be in Europe that week ayways

Sure, just have them add the number when you check in.

Overall, 245 € including everything.
I'm seeing
1 Adult 174.00 EUR
Taxes 71.78 EUR
Total Price 245.78 EUR

Where do you see a breakdown showing 74 or 75 € for the fuel surcharges?

Yes I know this way. Been on the NJ Transist a couple of times, you need however to change in Trenton, NJ. Amtrak is much more expensive. If I recall Amtrak is close to 100$ one way or something like that.

I would earn more miles if I could fly though. My biggest problem is that I have no vacation during this period so I guess I will wait for the next one.

So how many tickets did you get ?

I saw it in Amadeus when I first discovered the fare. All booking engines on the web later on add the fuel surcharge to the base fare, hence the 174 EUR or 175 EUR, depending on the rate of exchange.

The surcharges are lumped into the base fare when displayed to the consumer, but the actual fare is 100 EUR plus 74 EUR in fuel surcharges. On the ticket it will be shown as a Q surcharge separately from the 100 EUR base fare.

Exactly. Here is the fare calculation of one of my tickets:

AMS CO X/NYC Q45.00CO ORL61.37CO X/HOU CO NYC CO AMS Q45.00 61.37NUC212.74END ROE0.814723 XF EWR3

If you subtract the 2 x 45.00 USD fuel surcharge (= 90.00 USD) from the 212.74 fare total, you get 122.74 USD which equals 100.00 EUR.

If you already have the fare calculation your ticket has been issued right? Have a nice flight.

YY means that you can take any airline who flies that route. Did anyone try to include ams-cdg on rg and then with CO from CDG?
