Polite Request - make thread topic airline/citypair/cost/(fareclass)

Seems like a few posts are starting to exclude important details (esp airline although this can usually be guessed). Makes things easier.

Ma we also post the total fare including tx, etc-quite a bit different than without all that.

The reasons taxes are usually left out is that they vary based on routing. A non-stop routing will have far fewer taxes than a multiple connection routing. Even the same number of connections but connecting points in different cities can impact the total fare.

The only thing in common among all these is the base fare. If you want to guess at the taxes, budget roughly $7 - $10 a segment for domestic runs.

please post base fare.. and if you want.. include an all inclusive.. but if you do that, you should state the routing..
