Aren't we leaving other ethnicities out?

Who are you going to badmouth next? The poor Scots?

here's an executive summary:

dearest copa,

i received notification that the ticket would not be honored

other carriers have had very low fares (e.g, TACA from JFK to LIM for $198) and honored them

i booked the tickets on your website and played by your rules

now you need to play by the rules and honor the reservation

if not, provide me a legal explanation why you shouldn't have to honor them

love and besos,

snorkmaster

My credit card hold is gone, but my reservations are still showing as confirmed on their website.

I never heard back from COPA, but just wrote back -- I'll let you know what they say.

Just received an e-mail from COPA -- apparently the powers that be are still trying to come up with an answer (although I think it's more likely that they were hoping I would go away.)

1) My first e-mail from Vianka was essentially the same.

2) I think Vianka's hoping that we'll go away.

3) My trip's not until July, so I have plenty of time to harangue Vianka.

Just curious. Did anyone who got cc charged try to go the media route? (Like in previous mistake situations?) I remember with the Iceland thing, the WSJ article probably helped a bit...

copa just needs to deal with it - plus who cares .....it is more than they would get from their own emps flying on them. And they know that too...so you are just playing hardball with someone there...make some noise!!
