Smile NWA Mileage Run From LAX

Hi all,

I'm a NWA Gold who's working on Gold for 2005 -- looking at all my remaining business trips it looks like I'll come up a little shy. Time for some MRs.

I'm looking for lots of EQM miles at as low a fare as possible (preferable sub-$200). Also, no need for a hotel works best (red-eye's are OK on a Friday or Saturday night.)

I have next weekend open (June 5) and most of July (except 7/9-11) as well as August.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mileage Lover

lax-den

LAX-DEN with Triple elite miles is still valid till the end of June. The $118 fares that were offered early in the promo are no longer available, but it is still a pretty good deal since you earn over 5000 elite qualifying miles per RT. You can leave LAX at 11 am and be back at 5pm the same day.

To bad you did not count your trips and book a little earlier. You will probably be in excess of $200 maybe even $300 for a last minute trip. But it is very quick and no hotel.

I forgot to say: You must register for the promotion first on NWA.com. You just need to register before you fly. You can get all the details there (or in numerous threads in the NWA forum).

I got the following from ITA Software. Total fare was $177.50 including all taxes, for right around 5200 EQMs. I think it would be $5 cheaper if you booked directly with NW, but I am not sure. If you are into bumps, the last segment of this itinerary gives an EXCELLENT chance for a bump. GOOD LUCK!!:
