Any suggestions? Thanks in advance (this board rocks -- as do its experts!)

You can do better than what I found. But if you are desperate...

Flight: Alaska Airlines flight 276 on a McDonnell Douglas MD80 Jet
Depart: Los Angeles, CA (LAX)- Sat, Dec 14 8:00am
Arrive: San Jose Cabo, Mexico (SJD) - Sat, Dec 14 11:21am

Flight: Alaska Airlines flight 277 on a McDonnell Douglas MD80 Jet
Depart: San Jose Cabo, Mexico (SJD)- Sat, Dec 14 6:23pm
Arrive: Los Angeles, CA (LAX) - Sat, Dec 14 7:58pm

$222.08

There are several flight options on this day, going and coming. These are just two of them.

There are other great same day Saturday return specials at http://www.alaskaair.com/shopping/webspecials/start.asp

For example, BUR-PDX is pricing out at $137.50. About $30 more for Boise and Klamath Falls from BUR.

Try also SNA and ONT.

This was extremely helpful -- THANKS!

However, since I didn't manage to make a MR this weekend, any suggestions out of LAX (or BUR/LGB/SNA/ONT) the upcoming weekend (12/20-22) or out of TPA from 12/25-12/31?

Much appreciated!

OK, so it doesn't look good for this weekend from LAX... any hope of getting a 1500 mile run out of TPA/SRQ/MCO between 12/25-12/31?

LAXflyguy, remember Continental Connection-- 1500 can be done with one intra-FL connection flight.

Use the route map here http://www.gulfstreamair.com/destinations.html to plan the trip.

HOWEVER, be warned that the flights will only count toward NW elite status if booked under a NW code-- which is unlikely. If you're going for Continental status, you're fine.
