Special Fares (can you say $20) on BA not upgradable per BA

NW is our airline of choice. None of these items are available on our airline of choice.
It would be nice if they were available for the upcoming adventure to BKK with return out of SIN on NW. I'd even add $20 to my "K" class fare of $673 for them.

I too have some BA miles. If BA let me used it for 2 upgrades, I'll probably never use the balance. However, pooling the miles of this run with my GF with the miles I have and we'll take BA for 2 trans-Atlantic BC award tickets.
