From what I've read by Quiet Lion on LionTales, they're pretty darn good.

When a carrier that was already financially
weak (even before the current crisis hit) starts offering trans-continental round trips at fares that won't even cover the fuel costs (example: National Airlines LAX-MIA $100 round trip) you have to wonder what's up. I have seen this kind of thing in the past where a carrier (Braniff, Legend, etc.) introduced ridiculously low money-losing fares in a desperate, last-minute scramble to raise cash and then ceased operations a few days later. I HOPE this doesn't happen to National, but if you do buy a ticket from them, put it on a credit card so that you will be protected if the worst happens.

You do not have to worry about N7 in the near future. It is true they filed chapter 11 a few months back. But many airlines have filed chapter 11 in the past like UA and CO.

The current situation for airlines is not good at all but nothing will happen to N7 at least in the next couple of months.

Also these fares are only valid for the next few Tuesdays and all travel must be completed by Nov 8th.

I have flown N7 a couple times and their service is really good, especially for a newer airline. I have only flown F though. Their F upgrades are so cheap.

Hey ChanelCinq, what's up in SFO?

National is a partner for LatinPass..... these National miles can be combined with KL, US, and TW via Latin Pass, so the segments you use as part of a greater run will not be lost. For LP Million MIlers, check out my post in the LP thread.

NEWS FLASH:

As of now, CO is matching LAS--EWR for $75 RT. Travel must be nonstop-- not much mileage potential-- but it's a good fare for the market.

How bout goint to expedia, click on flights, then over on the left "Fare list" and put in your cities. Voila - you get a list of all the carriers and their fares, and you can click on the more information link for any fare, and see all the applicable restrictions, routings, etc. It's a great tool - and answers all your questions, most notably about YOUR home airport.
