FRA/MUC on US in January

Anyone up for an early run to FRA (or MUC)? Looking at weekend of 13-14 January. FWIW, US SWU upgrades are available. $392 inc. taxes and fees from SEA (new unannounced sale). Some 12,800 Q miles and 12,800 elite bonus miles for me. $0.015/mile sounds good.

Won't be able to fly with you, but I will be in Munich the morning of Friday the 12th (spending the day looking at museums before heading on to Berlin); if you happen to be there at the same time I'd be honored to meet you for drinks or lunch.

Looking at hanging out in Koeln, or perhaps go to Erfurt or Regensburg to take it the medieval city centres.

I was thinking about going to Frankfurt, but everyone told me there is nothing to do there for a weekend, let alone a day (see my post in General Traveltalk).

Are you spending the day at the Philly Airport on purpose?

Might end up joining y'all for the fun - just seeing what my January calendar allows. I'll let you know what happens - good thing there's 2 330 flights and 1 767 there a day.

Preliminary report with 4 of 5 segments posted and all expected bonuses posted and it's much better than I had expected.

12,903 Q-miles + 12,903 elite bonus + 1,000 booking + 12,500 unpublished and unexpected bonuses for $400 or $0.031 Q-mile, $0.010/mile.

I almost did as well, (actually a little better on the Qmiles):
12,656 Qmiles+ 12,656 elite miles+ 1,000 online+ 7500 various bonuses for $368 is $.011 mile or $.029 Qmile.

Not bad for my SEA-PHL-FRA-PHL-SEA long weekend!
