To be fair, I am booking it since its just 200 dollars. Who knows what will happen? Worse case they just cancel it

I think it's been cancelled - locator no longer shows up online and I never got an email.

I can imagine a bit worse case, e.g. you will wait for your frozen money. And excuse me my question: do you always buy nonsensical offers which clearly cannot work because there are even no such flights which are "offered"?

In 2021, I booked solo cabins for my partner and myself on a dozen cheap Carnival cruises out of Australia. It was blindingly obvious none of them would sail. In exchange for letting them hold onto ~$5000, they gave us $500 credit for each $200 deposit we used on another cheap cruise. We cashed our credits out in the casino every trip - for two years, we brought home more than we spent on the cruises. We're a few thousand dollars up overall from that play.

Anyway, yes - I can afford to wait for the cash to come back, so in situations like this I'm happy to book the flight and roll the dice. The opportunity cost on $200 for six months is what, $10? I can afford to lose that if whatever they offer instead or as an apology is unappealing.

You described a completely different situation related to Covid and the cancellation of many tourist events.

In this case, it is immediately apparent that this is a mistake, which JetBlue does not have to feel obligated in any way, nor apologize to anyone. Especially since no one received an issued ticket.

Waiting for 200 is fine with me, I am aware that is the most likely outcome. And for your question, yes I have the means to wait so why not? Gives me some excitement to look forward to in the next 24 hours

I described a situation in which I gave a company money to hold onto despite having no expectation that the 'product' I was purchasing would be available - I gambled that any offer they made me would be worth more than the opportunity cost of the 'loan.' Further, in that case, there was a small chance of a truly ugly outcome - had Australia abruptly decided to allow tourists and cruising, I would have only been refunded the taxes and would have lost ~$2500. In this situation, I'm only risking the opportunity cost of the 'loan' and as such I'm comfortable with the idea that I may not receive any offer at all.

Is this your first foray into absurdly priced flights? I'd have missed a lot of incredible deals over the years if I never booked anything that was an obvious mistake. I like this sort of mistake even more than pricing errors - because I know they can't give me what I paid for, my credit card would protect me in a pinch.

SF posted a "What not to do during an Error Fare" article because their members were calling LOT. Lol.

Unless you foolishly use a debit card to pay, that's not an issue in the least.

Oh really? That's unexpected, provided that you bought phantom flights (for the dates when LO does not operate LAX-WAW at all).

Two days ago while flying via LAX with United I saw on the departure board LOT flight 22 to Warsaw. There was no time, gate nor status listed next to it.
It was funny to see it mixed between UA flights.

This would be about a 90-second credit card chargeback case if the flight isn't refunded with seven days of cancellation (or not being operated on the date of travel).

You should definitely spend you money on a good charity instead.
