EY - AUH-ATH - $58-70each way

Availability is showing from December through April, making it a fantastic positioning flight for winter and spring mileage runs.

Direct flight. The fare is roughly the same in each direction.

No checked bag. Books into fare class T.

No loyalty points when crediting to AA.

Not a bad price for 5-hours on a premium ME carrier. Could be combined with the current AUH-DEL sale for a cheap Europe-Delhi fare.

Remember if you do that then you will be on separate tickets for both flights, so leave enough time between flight connections (min 3 hours, at best an overnight).

Does this mean that the FCO-AUH deal is now dead? In this offer Etihad were competing against Wizz Air.

Both FCO (similar availability to ATH) and VIE (limited) continue to have availability on this fare

I need to go to AUH so this would fit my travel plans but im a bit scared about the luggage fees from Etihad.

Can anyone confirm how much they charge for a regular bag?
I have status on all 3 alliances but nothing with Etihad (SAS G, Delta P, BA G).

Seems to book into T fare, 25% earning with AA.

Calling Etihad a "premium" carrier" in economy class is risible.
