Thanks OP for posting. Why shouldn't this be of interest to lots of people? We read in this thread about people taking positioning flights from the US to CMB, OSL, etc etc. so why not to Scotland? There are also people who don't live in Inverness but are in easy distance of it (like me) who might like to take advantage of this fare.

Beats a LIT-SVG MR any time IMHO (with no disrespect to the good citizens of Little Rock or Stavanger).

It is also available from other regional UK airports for slightly higher prices.

more than you might expect, Inverness is full of foreign oil workers with huge disposable income and massive periods of time off. I think it was the fastest growing city in Europe a few years ago.

Anyone find a cheap hotel in Jan?

The hotel prices appear extortionate for what you get

There seem to be some pretty nice prices coming out of INV at the moment. Look at this with SkyTeam, bookable as V class directly with DL or KL.

For those who aren't aware, the reason INV is cheap is because there is no APD, saving about £70 in Y compared to the same fare from other UK cities.

Wasn't Belfast also APD-exempt?

I seem to recall Belfast also getting itself an APD exemption (albeit maybe only on direct flights) ..
Am I mistaken?
