Seems like you can switch the routing for some dates to IAH on outbound and DEN inbound if you want to overnight in those cities. Some dates have redeyes from DEN-PTY and do not require overnight.

Speaking of which, does anybody know if there is a transit desk in PTY? From what I'm reading two hours should be enough to go through immigration and back again, but would just as soon go through transit security.

Maybe I got the last ticket available at $243 because I tried to book another flight within a few minutes and the price went to $394.
I am going connecting through Denver and catching the red eye. Will be back within a few hours going through IAH.
Luckily, I used a GPU that expires at the end of Jan 2016 and got upgraded to all the segments with one single GPU for the RT.

No need to go thru immigration and security at PTY if you're doing an immediate turnaround.

When you arrive, you are put directly into the terminal and only need to go thru immigration if you wish to go landside.

There will be a perfunctory security screen at the gate however.

Jan 28-30 still has the low price but yeah a lot less dates now.
