This is the correct answer.

These hub attacks often last only a couple of hours and end BEFORE they hit the blogs @:-)

In past I've seen deals posted AFTER the fare has already been pulled.

Thank you first time poster

Managed to get MSP-DFW-SLC-SEA-HKG-NRT-ATL-DFW-DWT-MSP for a total of $798 using your fare notice. 19,923MQMs at 4.005cpm. DFW-HKG-DFW routing was $479 plus another $318 for MSP-DFW-DWT-MSP. Now if they'd only had these offers out of MSP!

Are you kidding me?

Just because they filed a discount economy fare does not mean DL intends to omit the YQ. A fare can be an attack fare without it being a mistake.

And unlike hub attack fares where they charge 1$ base fares, this is missing YQ.

You guys are delusional..

Is this still active? I can't find it. Pulling up as $1,300+ for a DFW-HKG-DFW roundtrip on Delta.

These type of fares can be gone in a couple of hours.

Per TheFlightDeal:

Oh gee, I wonder why a mistake fare filed with missing YQ would get pulled by Delta once they see it posted on a popular blog and people are booking it.

So interesting, this fare basis "VLE0ZSA1", that you could book from USA when it explicitly states,
Travel must originate from Hong Kong between 22nd September 2015 - 9th December 2015, 22nd December 2015 - 31st December 2015, 8th January 2016 - 3rd Febuary 2016, 12th Febuary 2016 - 29th Febuary 2016.
TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/BEFORE 31OCT 15.
I guess this "attack fare" sale ended early, boys!

Get real.

The fare was filed correctly. It was not a mistake fare. Delta files their fuel surcharges for HKG as a YR. Hong Kong fuel surcharges are generally cheap, in this instance it was under $30.

If you go and look up a bunch of DL HKG fares, you will see that the YR is consistently under $30 from the US.

Granted you are correct. But it's no reason to have the fares pulled.

Are you really making this argument? Attack fare always get pulled early, usually after only a few hours. If this was a YQ mnistake, please explain why the YQ was misfiled solely from the AA hubs?

Because the fare was filed solely for AA hubs.

Secretflying called it an error fare. Even if it isn't, it's long gone now.

If it was a error fare they don't do a very good job at preventing them as I took advantage of a similar deal about 4 months ago. I believe it was $520ish PHX-HKG via SEA.

I also had a fare to CGK similar to this one also with Asiana segments and connecting in ICN.

Fuel surcharges are regulated in Hong Kong. For October, it's capped at 14 USD each way for long haul
