Available from MSP too.

What are visa requirements on a short turn into Russia?

Since I had to look it up - LED is St. Petersburg.

There is a "bullet train" running from there to Moscow - under 4 hours. Also some delightful overnight ones, including the Red Arrow.

And twoner32 - you might look in the destinations area for Russia. Lots of chatter about visas usually.

Same question. If I promise not to sleep, can I skip the visa?

Try explaining that to Russian border guard.

You need a visa. Some had success by staying at airport transit area but it is not allowed by the rules.
