US to Southeast Asia Open-Jaw in Nov/Dec 2015 for $770~$800 (around 3.7cpm to 4cpm)
Hi guys,
I have been looking at a trip to Southeast Asia for awhile, and has found that the open-jaw in OneWorld / AA seems to offer the most value. You can try a combination of dates, and outbound/inbound cities, but here's a couple that I have found today:
Sample itineraries:
11/19 - 12/2 IND-ORD-NRT-CGK; SIN-NRT-ORD-IND ($808 for 19,846 - screenshot)
11/19 - 12/1 PHL-ORD-NRT-CGK; SIN-NRT-ORD-PHL ($771 for 20,847 - screenshot)
You can always get a pretty good deal from a budget airline from CGK to SIN (Scoot, AirAsia – which had a $5 sale awhile back for a 2016 departure, TigerAir, etc.)
The lowest I have seen was back in June, with an open-jaw return from PVG.

Got it down to $739 at 3.43 cpm for 21,515 EQM:
DCA-DFW-NRT-CGK; SIN-NRT-ORD-DCA
Unfortunately DFW-NRT is an old 772, but at least the return is 788!

Also found return routing via LAX instead of ORD for the same price bumping the mileage up to 22,415 and 3.30 cpm, but NRT-LAX is JL 777 instead of AA 788 if SWU/MCE are crucial for you.

I don't think I'm addressing it for everyone, Jon, but so isn't most posts in this forum. People can only go somewhere from one point or another after all.
I hope it's helpful to some. Feel free to share your finding from elsewhere in the world though!
