UA just filed a very aggressive fare for SMF-EWR @ $250, i have not seen this route under $300 in the past 12 months.
seems to encourage routings via SFO or LAX for extra miles w/ 500mile mins
valid for travel 8/25-12/16 2015, excluding Friday/Sunday

Great find, PV_Premier! Since these can be booked as one-ways in either direction, you can book a hidden-city ticket from EWR to SMF through SFO for $125. Great option for people visiting the NYC area and wanting a cheap return.

Thank you. Your post did lead me to checking fares also into JFK from SMF using PS service. Was able to book three tickets. Price was on average less than $100 more per ticket. Higher level on comfort on PS.
