AA has LGA-CUR (Curacao) available for 295 through EOS. Clocks in at 6cpm, so no awards, but a very nice weekend weekend trip/mileage run.

I'm seeing a lot of $300-400 o/w fares to PEK this summer from all over the EU on LO (787) and EY. Could be useful for doing an à la carte RTW. Business can be had for just under $1000.

Two things - One - The points guy has some great Brazil deals this morning - DTW for example works out to about 5.8 C per mile on AA. So that may be of interest to some of you.

Two: The rest of the brazil deals are basically the southern half of the country. if you have a travel agent there are a bunch of other remote places you can book UA/TAM.

Seeing some very good deals from YVR to HKG and TYO on a site called "webjet.ca".

Airfare.com has some good deals, better than these, for YVR-HKG via TYO, but I recall that it's not 100% reliable.

Ran across this while messing with the AA.com booking engine:

Oddly the fare does not show up on ITA or Google flights, at least not consistently. Mix of AA and BA metal though there are some all-AA itineraries possible. Route via MIA for slightly more $$ to gain 2000 extra miles. Slightly higher fares available to/from LUX and perhaps PRG. Obviously only works in one direction: C2-C1-C2. Could be a candidate for dieting?
