They must be getting slammed. I'm timing out repeatedly.

What date are you getting $52 on? we were looking at going to NYC in june but it still comes to about $130 a person. I'm guessing im looking too far out.

Dec 16th YYZ-EWR $52 after $75 off. Some dates EWR-YYZ are $25 one way. make sure book each person, each way separately and apply the right coupon. Also, UA shows full price, so you get the miles on $75 coupon if its after 3/1/15

Credit card was charged full price, even though the invoice clearly shows $75 off.

Great.

Anyone tried booking 2 one-ways instead of a round trip, and applying the coupon on both flights?

I put in a one-way with 2 people, the coupon seems to work fine. It came up as $75 off per person. I dont think there is any need to book it separate for each person?

Thanks for the deal OP. unfortunately the date I need comes up as $206 per person before coupon

Didn't realize this offer is valid only for college/university students and faculty until I got to the booking page. Grr...

Do these (EWR-YYZ) flights earn UA PQM? At the bottom of the checkout screen is a Frequent Flyer Miles table (I can't link to it directly) that seems to indicate UA flights only earn mileage for domestic flights.

mykel67 - I was able to register an account as a non-student, non-faculty "Adult" and see the discount correctly applied.

Also good for some hidden city pairs. LAX-SJD with a connection in IAH for $53 for instance.

Has anyone else actually booked anything, and checked their CC statements?

AMEX flagged the transaction when I put the charge through and when I called Fraud Protection they said "United Airlines" hit my account for the non-discuonted amount. This was a ticket I was going to buy anyway so not a huge issue, but it appears at least initially they are charging the full price.

My e-mail confirmation clearly shows the discounted price.
