QF: MAD-SYD return 649 Euro

Another one:
http://www.kayak.de/flights/MAD-SYD/...-02/2015-03-09

Routing includes stops in DXB which means EK metal, so not necessarily a good TP run for us BAEC folks.

You can go for a similar price on BA routing BCN-LHR-SIN-SYD-SIN-LHR-BCN

In fact they are sold as QF tickets op by EK you will earn Avios and TPs with BAEC program.
Unfortunately only 25% miles but 150TP for sure

That's not true. Oneworld codeshares on non-oneworld operated flights earn nothing.

Sorry You are wrong. BAEC says... any QF flight operated by partner airline WILL earn miles and TPs

its different for each member. with AB you will only earn miles and TP if flight is operated by AB or NIKI but not EY!

trust me, I did that QF/EK thing a few weeks ago and DID earn TP and miles. so I definetly know what I am talkin bout.
but tickets must be sold as QF and only op by Ek and thats the case, refering to what El Duderito posted

Interesting, I was just going by what was posted in the BA forum sticky. I searched for the relevant BA page:
http://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/...-avios/flights
It explicitly says Avios will be earned but no TPs.

There is however another thread in the BA forum:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...get-miles.html

Last post in there:
There have been a number of reports on here of people flying QF coded flights on EK metal getting Avios and TP's - so can happen, but don't take as gospel

I have taken EK operated QF ticketed flights and received both Avios and TPs in the past however this may have changed. See right at the bottom

Not booking the ticket unfortunately, but here's something perhaps working looking into if it combines: Orbitz 5X for Qantas flights...

Crediting QF/EK flights to BAEC

I did not know that at all. Credited a bunch of these QF/EK flights to EK's FF as didn't think I could get miles or Tier points for them on BAEC.

Just interesting for earning TPs IMHO, because you will just get 25% Avios, thats about 5800 from Europe to SYD/MEL/BNE

Don't think you will be allowed to board the plane without a visa.
