Wish they had another crazy low fare sale ex-SEA so I could get the double RDMs. $467 RT to Asia is hard to pass up, though positioning flights to YVR are not cheap.

The last time I checked yesterday afternoon these low fares to Shanghai (PVG) included not just Vancouver (YVR), and Calgary (YYC), but Victoria (YYJ) and Edmonton (YEG) as well.
Excluding December, the fares carry on until late April.

AirCanada from most Canadian airports including yours YYC and Victoria YYJ will do quickies. You are reading the wrong thread.

Unless AC can be credited to AS mileage plan, then I am definitely in the right thread. The 7 day minimum is somewhat prohibitive for those of us looking to obtain maximum miles in minimum time. Looking forward to hearing whether or not a shorter turn is out there.

Shanghai is holding at $469. Price drop for other Chinese destinations. Beijing is now $509, Hong Kong $537. Same 7 day minimum requirements.
