The below is from our moderator (taken from the first post of the thread - bolding is mine). Feel free to add more if necessary / as needed.
Happy 2014!
Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.
A few requests for posting in the thread:
-members posting their deals please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices (ETA: ...or in email alerts)
-some members may be unaware that you can subscribe to this thread and to do that you can go to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and click on "Subscribe to this thread".

China AIrlines SFO-RGN $650
Too add to the earlier post to Singapore, SFO-RGN for $650. Good fare into a typically expensive destination to fly into.. unless it's 1st class Mistake

Just booked a same day turn in March from LA to Washington on Orbitz for $191.10. Yields 4999 EQM or 5286 EQM (3.61 CPM) with 500mi minimums. Seems to be a lot of availability to mid-March. I've been able to pull up the fare on Google, but the price jumps to $273 when trying to book on AA. But plugging the times into Orbitz gets the sub-$200 fare.

If anyone needs a last minute segment run on US/AA, you can structure a BOS-PHL through LGA, RIC for <$250. While not exactly a great deal, you can get 4 segments with a same day turn in under 9 hours, departing at 3pm. You can add an additional segment through CLT for another $50.
On Matrix, specify US+ US+ for the outbound.

If anyone wants to book on Norwegian, choose to pay in NOK for about a 15% discount right now. Sample itinerary: JFK-OSL Feb. 5-9 for $277 (2065 NOK) vs $319 when booked in USD.
